The product has a brownish tint and exhibits strong erosion resistance, thermal stability, high machinery strength, and high temperature resistance. It is produced in a tilting electric arc furnace and is an excellent raw material for producing shaped refractories.
The manufacturing process for Brown Aluminum Oxide involves fusing premium raw materials in a 3500 KVA furnace. It is an ideal material for general abrasive applications in bonded abrasive tools, polishing, and sandblasting grit. Although aluminum oxide has lower hardness and abrasive capacity than materials like diamond, boron carbide, and silicon carbide, it is still widely used for grinding ferrous materials and finishing tough and hard materials. Users also utilize it as a high-class refractory material.
